Energy control and Lockout

See the training

Far too many accidents are caused by the inadvertent or unintended release of energy from an uncontrolled source during installation, maintenance, repair, or unjamming procedures. It is imperative that prevention measures be applied, through energy control and lockout methods, to avoid these accidents and thus participate in fostering a safe work environment. The worker must be familiarized with their work equipment, be aware of the potential risks it poses and apply all the procedures put in place to ensure their own safety, as well as their colleagues’ and the population’s.
